Hi all, Our current Call Manager 4.x servers are creaking under their age, and we are looking at replacing this either with a new Cisco telephony system or a completely new system altogether. The system has to use IP as the connection to the handsets, as we don't want to add in more cables. Has anyone any experience in deploying a new Call manager setup, or a similar telephony system, and how was the accessibility? Thanks. Andrew.

Thanks, I did download the demo and it will not install on Server 2003. I also tried reinstalling the OS in a RAID 1 configuration, as opposed to the RAID 0 I tried last time. The same thing happened. There are two 250gb drives in the array. Disk management reports the C partition as being 231.8gb, which would be correct (this being the "DM disk view in disk management). The properties of the C drive as reported by Windows Explorer shows the capacity as 5gb and I cannot use any of the rest of the space (226 or so GB). I found the drivers for the Dell 5ir controller on the support.dell.com site. I installed them with no difference. I could not find the ISO image of the latest Dell setup disk. After identifying it as a SC440 and a 5IR controller I don't see any links to disk images. I was thinking of installing the drivers onto a floppy and hitting F6 after booting from the Windows disk. How can I set up the drivers on the floppy or can I just copy the .exe files onto the floppy? Thanks for all of your suggestions. importing public self signed certificates via GPO

Hello, This might be a simple question, but googling hasn't revealed the answer. I've got a web server that uses ssl to protect areas. This ssl is enabled by a self signed certificate that i issued from my own CA. I can manually import the CA's public certificate in to each machine then each system will trust the site and not pop up a warning dialog box about an untrusted cert. What i was wondering is if it would be possible for a GPO to be able to distribute the public cert to all domain computers. Thanks. Dave.

Andrew, thanks did you mean the J-Tools or J-Say. If I am reading that site correctly the J-Say is for Draggon speach recognition only. Using Outlook 2007/Exchange 2007 with shared calendars and JFW

Hi all, I have a client of mine who is using Outlook 2007 with JFW 10. She manages about four or five shared calendars. As part of her job duties she has to find open time slots on all of those calendars. The way to do this in Outlook 2007 is to use overlay mode which you can get to by selecting the calendars you want in the navigation pane and choosing "Overlay" from the view menu. Visually what this does is put appointments from all selected calendars into one view so that empty time slots are very obvious. The problem we are having is that JFW is only reading appointments from the last selected calendar. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to get Overlay mode to work in JFW? Exchange Server 2003 and Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit.

I'm banging my head against concrete here, and wondered if any of you have experience of Outlook 2007 and Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit, accessing an Exchange 2003 Server at my office from my home desktop. I have access via the same Virgin Netgear Router here at home via my laptop which has Windows Professional 32 bit and Outlook 2003. As far as I can see, the Dray Tek Smart VPN Client is set up identically tio the laptop. I know for sure that the VPN is connected, as I can access any of the server's drives, and even Remore Desktop to the server. But whatever I try, I keep being told that the Exchange Server is not available. However, what has got be a tad suspicious, is that I have a similar problem accessing an America supplier's server using the same Username and Password as I do onloy my laptop, which suggests that I may be missing something 64 bit specific. Has anyone any thoughts? George.
