Hi Ibrahim, Generally there is a lot of general linux documentation and fedora specific stuff online. though there are some mailing lists like the sonar gnu/linux mailng list which is also not distro specific. not all are using sonar on that list but they also help with other distros like fedora. Subscribing is possible by sending a e-mail to support-request(a)sonargnulinux.com with subscribe as the subject. Which ISO have you downloaded of fedora? ssh, xterm terminal, and sh shell

Hello, I'm using a router with the merlin firmware on it. It's using a terminal type of xterm, and the shell is sh. I was wondering if anyone had any experience/tips/tricks with ssh-ing to a machine with that combination? Thanks. Dave.

Active Directory and IM/Presence with Asterisk

Hi all,, Was wondering whether or not anybody has gotten this to work? We've got a nice Asterisk PBX running, and now we're trying to incorporate chat into it. The big question is whether to use something like EJabberd and use its extension, though doesn't Asterisk itself have an extension? My thoughts were the more integrated this is, the less administration any of us have to do with one server handling calls, while the other is handling chat ... not to mention, the prospects of using Active Directory credentials with it. Any suggestions, guys? I can't find anything worth a dang regarding documentation on this (It's my friend who set up the asterisk server; he's teaching me, not the other way around). Also, for soft clients, was looking at X-Lite or Bria, their paid product. How does everyone around here like either one of those? Thanks for all the assistance in advance. Appreciated. I wish I could give you more information on our server environment, though last time I spoke with people, tweeks were still happening. I'd think it's probably either Ubuntu or CentOS; some members of my little group or obsessed with those. LOL

deploying NVDA with custom config

Hi List, Apologies in advance if I am going off topic. Has anyone gotten NVDA to install silently using a custom config pointed elsewhere? My question stems from some NVDARemote messages which I've followed from Simon sometime ago, Thanks Simon. I've setup the config and put it it on the server however, My problem is that If I install NVDA with switches like: c:\nvda.exe --install-silent -m launchNVDA -r -c \\share\NVDA After a silent install, on the desktop, target of the icon shows like: "C:\Program Files (x86)\NVDA\nvda_slave.exe" launchNVDA -r Of course I could modify the icon to point to the config, but I can't imagine having to do this on many pc's within the company? Any help regarding my issue would be much appreciated please. Kind Regards
