What is Map and what do you use it for? Speakup can be used to access the CLI of Linux. Emacspeak is another solution. There is another screen reader which I don't remember. Brltty is the braille CLI program that allows you to use the CLI. Sean On 16/04/2013, at 9:45 AM, David Mehler <dave.mehler@gmail.com> wrote:
Hi,
Nmap won't present a problem, I've used it on many platforms.
Orca, works with the graphical interface, but if your going commandline interface speakup is where you'll want to go.
Hth Dave.

Thanks for the information but I have another question. How does Orca do with a command line interface?

Orca is the screen reader for the linux graphical user interface. It works pretty well. It's pretty much all I ever use. I sometimes still use voiceover but I do 99% of my work with orca.
Hello,
I will be taking a computer security class in the fall. I am trying to do some research for the class and have come up with a couple of things that could present problems. They are nmap, Backtrack Linux and Orca. Does any one have experience with any of the above software
