Hi, Iaen, If you're asking if one can use JAWS and a web browser on your local machine to access a Citrix remote session, the answer is an absolute no. We rely on the Citrix virtual channel infrastructure to communicate information from the JAWS running in a remote session with the version running locally, and that functionality is only available when using the native Windows client. I'm sorry that you've gotten mixed answers from us, but this one really is correct. I'd still go for the job. If they like you, I doubt that they'd have a problem with you using the Citrix native client instead. --Glen Glen Gordon Vispero(tm) | Software Fellow 17757 US Highway 19 N, Suite 560, Clearwater, FL 33764 T 727-803-8000 F 727-803-8001 ggordon@vispero.com www.vispero.com -----Original Message----- From: Iaen Cordell <ianc@optusnet.com.au> Sent: Tuesday, February 5, 2019 6:17 PM To: blind-sysadmins@lists.hodgsonfamily.org Subject: [Blind-sysadmins] Citrix web plug-in with JAWS Good morning list, I am going for a job and they are using Citrix with the web plug-in, from what I have read JFW will only work with the Citrix receiver client and not the plug-in. Can someone please confirm this? A support call and email to freedom scientific gave mixed results, that is the phone call said no and the email said yes. Thanking you in advance Iaen Cordell. _______________________________________________ Blind-sysadmins mailing list -- blind-sysadmins@lists.hodgsonfamily.org To unsubscribe send an email to blind-sysadmins-leave@lists.hodgsonfamily.org
