Hello Christopher,
The AccessWorld article mentions use of BlackBerry Connect with Nokia
phones. I am wondering if the Windows Mobile version of this software is
accessible with Mobile Speak?

Blackberry can be made accessible.
Here is the link on users who are doing it.

As far as I'm aware Blackberry does not support any speech package.
There is a Nokia, Nokia E something or other I think that has software
that can emulate Blackberry features.

Hi,
RIM is Remote Incident Manager:
http://www.serotek.com/enterprise.html
The version for network administrators etc is called Remote Access
Manager - RAM, which is on the same page.
I investigated the price of this for a charity a while ago, and the RAM
pricing was very expensive, it would cost us around $15,000 for a 5 user
pack, if I remember correctly.
On the subject of the Blackberry, are you using speech with this in any
way, or do you have enough sight to see this?
Thanks.
Andrew.

Hi guys,
Is anyone here using RIM in a corporate environment on a corporate
network?
The reason I ask is because I would be worried about spending this
amount of money on such a product, if I had never heard of the
manufacturer before in that space. For example, I know that Citrix is a
leader in remote management and desktop sharing. However, other than in
software for the blind, I have not heard of Serotek advertising widely
in this space. Until this happens, I am concerned that people will not
want to adopt this solution.
Discuss.
Andrew.

Thanks. I'll take a closer look at Window Eyes.

I use window-eyes on servers and work stations. RDP through Windows
works great for me. You don't need extra licenses to load Window-eyes
on a
computer that you want to connect to. I've even logged into a server
from
home and then into various work stations. I still get pretty good
connection using rdp from computer to computer to computer.

I am happy to have stumbled across this list. I am looking for
accessible remote control software. I don't have the ability to
install
Jaws on every computer I touch, so any help would be appreciated. I
used Jaws and Window eyes for access.
Thanks in advance,
Greg Bobo
