[Blind-sysadmins] ssh, xterm terminal, and sh shell

Hello, I'm using a router with the merlin firmware on it. It's using a terminal type of xterm, and the shell is sh. I was wondering if anyone had any experience/tips/tricks with ssh-ing to a machine with that combination? Thanks. Dave.
