Your logon is processed in the same way as if you logged onto the server locally--your profile is loaded, your user portion of the registry is loaded etc. I'm trying this right now with a server that I've run Window-Eyes on in the past and WE still has not loaded even though the desktop is visible on the remote machine. The machine appears to be partially hung since the Start Menu is also not popping up on command. Matt On Wed, November 5, 2008 10:51, Ryan Shugart wrote:
Hi all: I have a quick question about how logons are handled in a TS environment. If one does the following: 1. On the client machine launches the remote desktop client. 2. Clicks options. 3. Selects the program tab 4. Checks the "run the following program on connection" and enters a program into be ran, such as notepad.exe 5. Goes back to the general page, enters a server name user name and a password 6.Clicks connect Assuming the logon is successful, what in the way of logon scripts or registry run keys is ran? I'm trying to force Window-Eyes to start in such a situation and am looking for the best way to go about it. Thanks. Ryan
