I heard that the latest preview builds fix the issues with the command line we're currently experiencing. I'm seeing them as well, and believe you me, they're annoying "text area" is all I get when looking at stuff. -----Original Message----- From: Blind-sysadmins [mailto:blind-sysadmins-bounces@lists.hodgsonfamily.org] On Behalf Of Jared Stofflett Sent: Friday, November 17, 2017 8:59 AM To: Blind sysadmins list <blind-sysadmins@lists.hodgsonfamily.org> Subject: Re: [Blind-sysadmins] Windows Subsystem for Linux 1609 - copy/paste in the terminal I can't figure out how to copy text. I find that right clicking with the Jaws cursor pastes what ever is on my clipboard though. On 11/13/17, Jason White via Blind-sysadmins <blind-sysadmins@lists.hodgsonfamily.org> wrote:
How can we copy/paste text from/to the terminal (Bash on Ubuntu on Windows) under Windows 10 Fall Creators Update 1709?
Under JAWS 2018, the terminal now appears as a text area, which is fine, but even with the Touch Cursor, I can't find a button to activate the menu that provides the copy/paste functions. I suppose I could use the JAWS Virtualize Window command to enable copying text, but not for pasting the contents of the clipboard.
