Hi, No I didn't but it is me doing the work in getting us compliant. As long as there is a justification for the screen reader then it can be included, but they would need to update their documentation. That helps, did you have to go through any hoops to get the screen reader installed on the servers themselves? Hopefully I’ll learn a little more about the environment today and just what remote management looks like, so I’ll have a better idea of what my needs will be. Thanks again. Ryan

Hi,
We are heavily regulated at my job. It hasn't given me access issues specificly but does require some thought on the placement of systems and how they are managed.
I rely quite heavily on jumpboxes to get to various places. So for example, I use the admin shares quite a bit to manipulate files on the remote servers. This isn't a good idea direct from the desktop, but can be done from an admin jumpbox in the relevant area.
Terminal Services can be a nightmare if you use a jumpbox to remote onto the environment then use another RDP session to the actual server, however. That can be overcome with another machine in the environment used for that purpose.
Every environment is different of course.
Andrew.

Hi all: I may be moving jobs soon, a Windows systems engineer at a regional health care provider. My current environment is unregulated, so the only security practices we follow, for better or worse, are our own. Obviously since this new environment would be a health care provider, they have HIPPA and high trust and other compliance things to worry about. My question to you, has this posed any accessibility challenges and how did you work around them, AKA making adaptive technology work in such a restricted environment? We’re talking screen readers here specifically. Thanks.
