I don't think you can judge motherboard companies by anecdotal evidence. I have one Asrock mobo and it's been rock solid. I have a couple of Asus and they have been fine too. But all mobo companies make defective motherboards. Sometimes individual motherboards have defects and sometime whole lines have defects. But all mobo companies are subject to that. There probably are differences between different manufacturers but I don't know how you could figure that out. How could stats on something like that be accumulated? You are better off reading the reviews on a particular motherboard to try to see if that product line has a history of failures. But if you just go by the sheer number of failures, you'd be punishing a mobo company for selling a lot of motherboards. In fact, it might be smarter to check the reviews for info on how much hassle it was for people to return a defective mobo. I have had to do that only once and it was an Asus. Other than the hassle involved in getting a defective mobo in the first place, sending it back, etc, it was no problem. I mean, they didn't argue with me or anything. They just replaced it no questions asked. On 04/17/2018 10:35 AM, David Mehler wrote:
Hello,
To any users of Asrock motherboards what are your opinions on them either pro or conn and why?
Thanks. Dave.
