Hi, If it doesn't use Twain or WIA you are not going to get it working. If the user needs to approach the scanner, then scan in the file and receive it as a PDF, you could scan it in that way. That is the way the scanner at work is set up, but it all depends on the details of the scanner and the implementation. At home I have an Epson Work Force all-in-one that is on my home network. There is no problem with accessing it from any computer on the network. The software doesn't seem to care, because Windows 7 and 8 appear to be managing those connections.
