You should have the tools already in Server 2019. (They are certainly in mine!) Your keyboard should have a PrtSc (Print Screen) button which, when pressed, will capture the entire screen. You can also capture just the dialog or window in focus by holding down the Alt key and pressing PrtSc. (Do consider this as full screens can sometimes be just too much) Under Windows Accessories, you will find a program called "Paint". Run it, and select New. Ctrl + v will paste the screen shot you have taken in to Paint. You can now do a normal Windows Save As, where you have a number of files types to select from. I suggest you ensure your file name make it clear what it represents. After that, you can insert what is essentially a picture in to Word or append to an e-mail, etc.. Need to use a accessible free screen capture software for windows server 2019. Need to capture the screen, then save them as a png or other images. Need to do this for a network lab and to show my trainer what I have done inside windows server 2019 inside hyper v manager. Any ideas. Have tried different software. Either not accessible or not able. Unless have to create a auto hot key script to do this. Thanks. _______________________________________________ Blind-sysadmins mailing list -- blind-sysadmins@lists.hodgsonfamily.org To unsubscribe send an email to blind-sysadmins-leave@lists.hodgsonfamily.org
