Hi, Does Acronis not allow you to restore from the Acronis console? I own a copy of this, but only got it for making a bootable CD which I could use. It did come with quite a comprehensive console, which I think did have an option for restoring the image, but not sure how it worked. One thing I used for a while was a live CD I made with Speakup, a copy of Samba and DD. I used DD to make the image of my hard drive partitions, and put them on the network. It was however very slow, and required an external synth.
