Hi, Thanks. I added the additional parameters i'm still getting a considerable amount of distortion and feedback in the output. Is there a commandline volume mixer i can use within the vm? Thanks. Hello, Is anyone running grml in a vm? I've got vmware server and am trying to run grml in a virtual environment. At the boot prompt i enter grml swspeak and then the system boots, this is with the latest grml, then i get a distorted screetch from my sound card under the vm. Does grml have an issue with vmware server's default audio adapter? If so, is there a workaround? Thanks.
