There's one place where Hyper-V beats VMware. It might be more accessible to change the boot order in the newer versions of Workstation? Second question, you mentioned you were able to change the boot order in Bios mode, how did you do that? I had to make a blank vm, power it up once so it put the needed files in place, then power down, and power it in to the bios. I then had to have a sighted friend change the boot order, I saved and rebooted. I did this for both 32 and 64 bit, I just copy in the bios .nvram files so I can use them on any vm. Thanks. Dave.
