Greetings Media, movies and popular television programs have helped shape my opinions of various places, Texas being one of them. We have a company in Winnipeg, Ambutech, who make mobility canes. As well as the common institutional white mobility canes they allow people to choose their own colours. Hey go figure, actually giving people a choice, but I digress. When I was speaking with one of their sales reps, one of their popular colours is pink. And the place that orders the most amount of pink coloured mobility canes is Texas. This has me revaluating the stereotypes I have formed with respect to that U. S. state.
