[Blind-sysadmins] Mac OS remote desktop with speech feedback?

Hi all, I'm aware that it is probably just as handy to jump into terminal and administer through the CLI but the job I am looking at is very faig about what the remote work would be. Can VO be used in a remote desktop scenario and if so what is the general latency like real-world? Cheers. Barry.
