For an IOS app, the Verisign VIP works fine as that's the one Paypal uses if you want an extra factor for logging in. I'm not sure how that one works for the server side for someone to buy at will and use. The one I recently heard of on that Security Now show is called Yubikey. It's a very small thing you plug into a USB port, and it spits one-time code material by simulating a USB keyboard, so no access issues for the blind there. Their company website is at http://www.yubico.com. It seems that a lot of players are entering this one, not sure how feasible cloud-based things like phonefactor or duosecurity are. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Andrew Hodgson" <andrew@hodgsonfamily.org> To: <blind-sysadmins@lists.hodgsonfamily.org> Sent: Tuesday, May 29, 2012 10:57 AM Subject: [Blind-sysadmins] RSA SecurID
Hi,
We currently have an old SecurID with the old token setup. I don't use this atm because I am unable to see the numbers on the token. We are looking at upgrading or replacing this, does anyone use the iPhone app and find it usable? I am unable to test this as when I go into the app it needs a security license which we don't have.
Any alternative products that may be more workable?
Thanks. Andrew. _______________________________________________ Blind-sysadmins mailing list Blind-sysadmins@lists.hodgsonfamily.org http://lists.hodgsonfamily.org/listinfo/blind-sysadmins
