Use Ultra Edit or TextPad. They are the best products on the market and are accessible. Hello, I'm not sure if the subject is entirely accurate, but i'm looking for a new Windows text editor something with notepad's speed but with multiple line editing, a mark ability or a search and replace. For example, I've got a document converted from a word doc, with the original source unavailable, that has headers and footers in it. I want to strip those out. I was thinking of marking text then deleting everything between the marks, or a multiple line search and replace. Suggestions for an editor welcome. Thanks. Dave.
