Hi, Are you logged into a domain account? Is that account a member of the administrators group on the local machine? It works both here and at work :) Andrew. -----Original Message----- From: blind-sysadmins-bounces@lists.hodgsonfamily.org [mailto:blind-sysadmins-bounces@lists.hodgsonfamily.org] On Behalf Of Nehemiah Hall Sent: 06 January 2011 20:41 To: Blind sysadmins list Subject: [Blind-sysadmins] windows 7 not respecting administrators group server 2003 I'm at a loss here. I'm a member of the administrators group on a server 2003 domain. We just put several windows 7 machines onto the domain, but none of them will allow me to make any changes that require UAC permission. It doesn't give me any error, it just keeps giving the same UAC prompt, asking for username and password. Suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks.
