I maximized it and the computer I am trying to control has JAWS. Does it
make a difference that this particular computer is on the same network? I
was just trying to test before I actually used it with somebody.

Only if the other person has a screen reader on their side of the
connection. Turning on Narrator is a start. The other thing you need to make
sure of is that the connection is maximized to avoid the issue with the
keyboard output going to your local workstation.

Windows 10 has a built-in feature to give remote assistance called Quick
Assist. Has anybody used this with NVDA or JAWS? I am able to connect to
the other person’s computer, but I can’t seem to actually control it. When
I do something such as hitting the Windows key, the start menu is opened on
my computer, not there’s. If they do something, neither JAWS or NVDA reads
the output.
I thought somebody told me this was accessible, but maybe not?
