This is going to be interesting. I wonder if nvda has a silent mode? I've heard it doesn't actually work. I'll have to check about that. In short, I think I did most of it remotely. - used psexec from sysinternals to open a remote command prompt on the server--I'm sure you can do all of this with PowerShell - Enable the auto service to start automatically with the SC.exe command. I think it was something like this: sc audiosrv start= auto (please notice the spacing in the start= parameter s it is important - Then I think I ran the installation for JAWS since you can do it totally from a command prompt and without an UI That is what I sort of remember. -----Original Message----- From: Blind-sysadmins [mailto:blind-sysadmins-bounces@lists.hodgsonfamily.org] On Behalf Of Katherine M. How did you do that? I'd assume then, if Jaws can run, then nvda should be able to as well. Has anyone gotten NVDA to work on server Core? If so, how? And is the audio service able to run on it? I can access it remotely through server manager and PSRemoting just fine, but it's that initial stuff that I might have some issues with. Thoughts and insights would be awesome.
