I don’t use JAWS, but my experience is if the screen reader crashes right on launch so badly it takes the machine down with it, its normally a video driver issue as that’s when the screen reader is hooking in the driver. I know you said JAWS wasn’t updated, but you might check and see if any other patches or driver updates were applied. Ryan

The server was running fine, I logged on via RDP, executed Jaws and it fell over.
I logged onto another server, executed Jaws and it fell over.
I'll grab the event logs later. I'm really afraid of going onto another server in case I cause it to fail as well.
I'm on route to the data center at the moment as the second server didn't come back up again.

Dare I suggest that the first thing you do when the server(s) back up and running is to access the Event Logs and make sure you take a copy of them which can be sent on if needs be? I'd hope the Event Logs would give you some detailed information to work on.
Out of curiosity, how were you able to point the finger at JAWS?

Jaws has just caused two production servers to reboot.
I've been using these servers every day from Monday to Friday for the past two years.
Jaws 14 is what's been running. I have never updated because getting time to reboot these servers is very difficult.
Now they've just gone down during a payment run!
Wow this is really bad luck.
Has anyone encountered this before?
I'm running Jaws16 on the local PC.
I'm writing this while waiting on the second server to come back up with every crossable part of my body crossed.
