You're trying to install a native Linux application into a Bash shell.

From what I understand, this functionality is a shell. You cant think of it like a Linux environment within Windows. Therefore installing things like Java won't be possible.

Use cases for me at the moment are quite simple. Using commands like cat, grep, cat, awk etc for looking at logs.
