[Blind-sysadmins] dd win7 iso to thumb drive

Hello, Question, if I used the Linux dd command to write a win7 iso to a thumb drive would it be then bootable? My thinking is I could then drop an autounattend.xml file in it's root directory, and have an unattended setup. Thanks. Dave.
