hi there mate, alt + win plus s, is the shortcut key to launch orca, after the dvd boots give it a minute or 2, then try the shortcut. i've never installed fedora, so I can't help you from there. just a something, find out what keys you need to press for volume up and down they are commenly knowne as your media keys mine as an example are fn plus number 3 for volume down, and for volume up it is fn plus 4. the keys on your machine most likely be different .
