Depends on the market segment. Cisco is about 10 times larger in terms of employee count and market value. In the service provider space though Juniper has had many successes against Cisco so products like the MX-960 compete with some of the higher end Cisco CRS devices as well as the Juniper T series etc. I’m a fan of Juniper products myself but started out on Cisco and definitely have no issue using their equipment either.
