No use the microsoft tool to do this as it needs to change the boot code. You can then put your unattend file on afterwoods but the m$ tool takes care of the boot code. regards, Kerry. On 17/11/2012 10:30 PM, David Mehler wrote:

Question, if I used the Linux dd command to write a win7 iso to a thumb drive would it be then bootable? My thinking is I could then drop an autounattend.xml file in it's root directory, and have an unattended setup.
