Hi, should also work with nvda. something like that but a little bit different. i made a little batch file that starts the installer in silent mode. so it installs. though i like some eyes around to help me in installing it on the server if something goes wrong. then i drop a modified icon on the desktop that loads a set of config files for nvda that also include the remote plugin which is set up that it connects to my computer. my computer is always the server. so that works all of the time. the only thing i wish it would support would be multiple connections. but maybe in the future we will have remote support built in nvda. but at the moment the nvda devs are at ending the python 2 to python 3 transition. I guess i once sent a few instructions to do that and some infos about my setup. will resend if i find it on monday if wanted. Should actually work as you describe. What i have noticed is that NVDA needs a longer time to connect when using win 10 or server 2016 and 2019. I had to wait around 30 seconds up to 1 minute to get a connection.

Scripts and share drive sounds like a great idea, but I don’t work very often deploying new servers or remotely controlling desktops. Just small projects here and there, mostly with physical servers/desktops. I guess wanted to try out NVDA remote options and experience out of the box experience.

On my servers we also don't have sound. I let my sighted friends install NVDA. I also made a script that installs nvda silently. then i let copy the nvda icon on the public desktop which loads the shared nvda settings from a server so you can press a shortcut when logged in which automatically connects to the nvda remote server.

I was going to try NVDA remote in my recent server 2019 setup/builds but wasn't sure if it will work without sound card on a server. With JAWS, I setup JAWS on the server, RDP in and continue my work, really awesome. With NVDA remote, it seamed to have way too many steps to setup and connect to.
Does anybody know if NVDA remote will work without sound card/drivers on the remote server?

Yes i Think i have asked this Before But lets say you have a windows vps I have a server 2012 vps with NVDA 2018.2 And try to get the impossible nvdaremote to work I set allow this pc to be controled on the server 2012 And set Control Another machine on my laptop Relay: nvdaremote.com I Think i can connect But cant do nothing..
