Hi, Ah yes, now I come to think of it, it was the RDP issue I was having. Not sure whether you can connect to the HP server via anything other than RDP, I don't believe it has a keyboard etc, but there may be another way round this. I've had good luck installing WE from a hard drive, I've not had good luck installing it over an RDP connection but like you I've not tried 7.X. I briefly considered putting SBS on my home network, but eventually decided it was way overkill for what I wanted. For one user who won't need Exchange since that's hosted, SBS is a little much, although I'd still like to play with it so I can say I know about it. Thanks again. Not used the HP Media Server, I believe this has a lot more integration with HP kit, and some other customisations. There is a RDP mode that you can use to connect to the server, and there are some tools similar to the SBS tools (though not as complex), that allows you to create accounts on the system, and run specific tasks. I didn't use it in the end because I rely on AD too much at home. One issue which you may have the HP kit is that I never have luck installing WE 6.0 from a hard drive, only from CD. On the HP kit I don't believe there is a CD. Not tried this on 7.0, because the new servers I am working on are all 64-bit. I was wondering if anyone else on the list has played with one of these machines and has any comments. I've heard the management tools can be made accessible but you have to go about it in an odd way and you have to use Window-Eyes to do it, which for me is fine. I think at its hart WHS is just Windows Server 2003 with some customized software preinstalled. The full PC backup interests me, and I've heard you can get some add-ons to integrate it with internet offsite backup. Any comments on this system? Anyone using one of these now?
