The Go Daddy people are geniuses. Using hot chicks to sell network services, who knew? :) Ok, seriously, I haven't used the cloud services but in general here's what I've found. About 5 - 7 years ago they sucked and the support was awful. My most recent attempt was totally different, the support on the phone was good although they do put on the hard sell trying to upsell you in to another product line, my Jr engineer actually did the sign up but it was painless and the experience was very positive (and reasonably priced). I would watch out for capchas, I know that used to be a problem although they always took phone requests and changes for free in the times I was blocked by a capcha so they eventually made good on the service request accommodating me. How's that? On Jun 25, 2012, at 10:37 PM, David Mehler wrote:
Hello,
Does anyone have any experience with godaddy cloud servers pro or conn? My last experience with godaddy was not good, but I might have a referal who might want to use their cloud server services. I have also never set up a cloud server and am not sure how accessible it is. I'm hoping they want to use LInux as they want a cpanel install, mail, wordpress and a custom app of some kind.
Any suggestions or advice appreciated.
Thanks. Dave.
