It is not an easy process. You'd really need to stay on top of it if you want some accommodations. In addition to studying the material you would need to always call them to make sure everything is as planned etc. I think about 8-9 years ago, I took my A+ and Network+ with a reader, passed no problem, but when things came down to Microsoft certs, the reader didn't show up, I was really bombed out, totally said forget it, I am not doing it any more. Maybe things have changed since, wish you good luck. It's like a joke for them, but for me, 3 month of Studying, many calls and on hold to confirm everything is on schedule as planned, finding baby sitter for the day, asking my wife to take a day off to take me to testing center an hour away because the closest one is not accessible "supposedly," and all they can say that the reader is not here, please reschedule. Oh, yes, please deal with refunding and ordering and paying for new cert/appointment on your own as well. However, I have been advised by the examination centre that I must first register with Pearson Vue. They have a process of providing accomodations for folks who need this. I am experiencing difficulty with this process. 1. They do not appear to have specific accommodation for blind persons. 2. The website doesn't allow me to complete the process of applying for an accommodation. 3. There's nobody to contact about this. Before I start digging deeper, has anyone out there had similar problems in the past with Pearson Vue, with regards to applying for accomodations. Regards, Paul The application must be made through their website. _______________________________________________ Blind-sysadmins mailing list Blind-sysadmins@lists.hodgsonfamily.org https://lists.hodgsonfamily.org/listinfo/blind-sysadmins
