I just let the operating system upgrades handle driver updates automatically (the same on Windows 10, Mac and Linux). If you're running an older version of Microsoft Windows, then this article may help: https://www.howtogeek.com/233115/the-only-way-to-safely-update-your-hardware -drivers-on-windows/ -----Original Message----- From: Blind-sysadmins [mailto:blind-sysadmins-bounces@lists.hodgsonfamily.org] On Behalf Of Zameer Mahomed Sent: Sunday, January 28, 2018 4:52 AM To: 'Blind sysadmins list' <blind-sysadmins@lists.hodgsonfamily.org> Subject: [Blind-sysadmins] Driver management? Hi Listers, I'd like to please know what solutions do you make use of when it comes to driver management? I realise that many of you are sys admins and don't deal with managing existing drivers or installing new drivers, but for those who do, do you just download them from the official site? or are their tools that are able to get the correct drivers from the official sites? I am aware of the unofficial driverpacks, but would prefer not to use them for stability and security reasons. Your input would be much appreciated.
