Hi,

We have now got over 50 subscribers, so I just wanted to say again what this list is about etc.

This list is for discussing all aspects of blind/vi people working in a system administration environment.  Feel free to ask any questions, whether it is how other people in the list are doing a specific job, how to further your career, or to highlight a specific issue which you have seen which could be of interest to us.  Try not to ask too many technical questions about a specific product, because in most cases, other lists specific to the product will do a lot better than this list.

There are people in here from all walks of life, from Windows, Linux, other Unix variants, and Cisco networking. 

Feel free to ask any question, no matter if you believe it is stupid or not worth bothering with, after all, that is what the list is set up for!

Of course, how to recover from the job of dealing with hundreds of “loosers” daily on a network, who have no doubt broken all the systems you have put in place, is also a good and fun topic!
