Hi, In the SQL Management Studio there is under the tasks for the database (context menu) an import/export option. For the source use the CSV option and for destination use the SQL server and the database you want to import into. You will also need to choose the correct table. Unfortunately with CSV imports you need to navigate through the column mapping screen which is not that friendly, one way to make this easier is to ensure the first line in the file contains the column headings named the same as your columns in the table. You will also need to ensure the data types are set correctly so as not to cause a conflict. I can't really offer much more help than this without getting into real detail, but if you are stuck and have specific error message then let me know and I will se what I can do on the list. Thanks. Andrew. ________________________________________ From: Blind-sysadmins [blind-sysadmins-bounces@lists.hodgsonfamily.org] on behalf of Marvin Hunkin [startrekcafe@gmail.com] Sent: 22 July 2015 12:20 To: blind-sysadmins@lists.hodgsonfamily.org Subject: [Blind-sysadmins] import csv files Hi andrew and all.
