You should just have to hit the mute or volume buttons probably f9 - 12 keys or so I'm not sure on the imac. To start VO type command F5 and it will start. From there you can get to your network preferences and configure them as you wish with a vo keys + m then down to system preferences. VO keys are option control. I'm really green with the mac ut using a new I7 with the 500 GB SSD. Thanks Scott On Sep 9, 2010, at 8:46 PM, David Mehler wrote:
Hello, Do we have any Mac users on this list? Specifically an IMac running OS 10.x and that's all I know. I know it comes with Voice over, but it's not got sound, not sure why, and not hooking up to the internet. I believe from what little i've gathered that it was hooked up to a dialup connection. I need to get sound, voice over, and internet, and I know nothing about Macs, just pc's. Any help appreciated. Thanks. Dave.
