Hi, In my experience VPN kills apps such as Quickbooks and Sage when they are accessing the files direct from the server. I would look at something like Small Business Server 2003 which has support for remote web workplace, which allows remote users to connect to XP desktops in the office for such activity using a website address. If you have already purchased Windows Server 2003 standard, you can run this as a terminal server, which will work effectively over the lan-lan VPN link across the two sites. What makes TS a killer inho is the user CALs.
