Hi Jason, Thanks for the info. Sounds interesting. I also might have a look at OpenMediaVault (www.openmediavault.org) and installing that on a Raspberry Pi 3. The Transfer rates might be pretty interesting though they support software raid and. Basically its a clean Debian 8 Jessie and some packages with a web interface. You can either use ssh to access the shell prompt, which I usually prefer, or use the Web interface, which seems to be quite accessible with a screen reader. It can offer NFSv4, or SMB via Samba, thus giving you a choice of file systems. You also have a choice of Linux file systems for the hard drives or SSDs.
