I think it depends on what you want the password manager to be capable of. At the moment, I don't know of any server side password managers that allow for single sign on to be accessible. Everywhere I worked we ended up using KeyPass 2 which you can put in a file share in a Windows environment to prevent modifications to it. It works great.
