Hi,
Sorry about that - I got the products messed up.
RIM is the cheaper of the two products, and is more suited for a single blind person. However, so far as I know, there is one issue with this - you have to start a remote session from the other end. This is so that people can get remote assistance from you, but the person on the other end remains in full control over the system.
RAM, on the other hand, was the product I was talking about, which is the full suite of software which allows remote administration without the person requiring being there at the other end. It runs as a full remote support suite for sighted and blind people alike, and was the product I was talking about in my previous email.
Thanks.
Andrew.

Hello Andrew,
Your concerns are certainly understood, but the same could be said for other
assistive tech companies including Freedom Scientific and GW Micro, yet
screen readers are purchased and used in employment situations. If remote
access is a requirement for the job, and a solution exists, it would seem
this would be considered a "reasonable accomodation" assuming any and all
corporate security issues can be addressed.

I am happy to have stumbled across this list. I am looking for accessible remote control software. I don't have the ability to install Jaws on every computer I touch, so any help would be appreciated. I used Jaws and Window eyes for access.
Thanks in advance,
Greg Bobo
