I've used the following program for some basic diagramming stuff. I don't know if it's advanced enough but it's free so you can give it a shot. If things have to be in visio you may be able to create the diagrams in Deep View and have someone translate them to visio. http://cs.unc.edu/~dorianm/academics/deepview/index.html Sean Murphy wrote:
Scott,
I get co-workers to describe the diagrams. If I had the time, I would investigate if it possible to write script for it.

Hi all.
So nice to see some action on this list.
I'm wondering how folks deal with visio diagrams especially creating these diagrams. I'm a network engineer and frequently asked to build complex diagrams of different environments. Up until now I've been paying a graphic designer to turn text detailed descriptions in to visio documents but wondering if that's the only solution. How are you all creating these? Also, how do you read them simply have a coworker or friend virbalize the diagram or is there a trick? I'm starting a new gig next week and have a feeling a lot of this will come up quickly.
Thanks Scott _______________________________________________ Blind-sysadmins mailing list Blind-sysadmins@lists.hodgsonfamily.org http://lists.hodgsonfamily.org/mailman/listinfo/blind-sysadmins
