[Blind-sysadmins] 2003 rras and ping

Hello, I'm trying to get a few 2003 servers to be able to ping each other. Their network interfaces are set to public connected to the internet as this is in a test environment. Additionally, under the ICMP settings tab i check incoming echo request, outgoing source quench, and outgoing destination unreachable, the checked status does not appear to be holding between restarts of rras. Suggestions please. Thanks. Dave.
