I have been trying to get orca to load on a Trisquel installation DVD. I have searched and searched. None of the keystrokes I have found have worked. the only thing that has worked in the past when I installed Trisquel on a VM was alt + F2 to bring up a dialog to enter a command and then typing orca and pressing enter. Is there any sound at all? I believe the Ubuntu distros play a sound when they load. I think Ubuntu plays a drum roll. Trisquel beeps. On 06/10/2014 9:34 PM, Scott Granados wrote:
Did you remap windows and have the Mac keys inverted? I always get confused between windows key in windows and the fact it’s in the inverted position and not called windows in Mac.
Is it really that simple that you should boot with a windows ls and it will start speaking?

Hello,
Is anyone using a Ubuntu 14.04 in a VMware vm? If so, did you have audio issues? I'm trying to do an install, I've loaded the desktop iso and started it. I did a windows alt s and expecting to get speech, for the install, well that didn't happen, I don't get sound at all. This is on a win7 x64 host.
Thanks. Dave.
