Hi, We're now trying out a Github-based solution: Tickets are hosted on Github which means: nothing to maintain internally, good for working remotely, a fairly full-featured API if we need it and the website is usable for some things. Instead of a whiteboard we have a dashboard (a Pi connected to a TV) which boots into a browser that displays the tickets using a service called Waffle. The only development required for this was to configure the Pi; for Waffle it was just a case of visiting http://www.waffle.io/organization/repoName and authenticating as we're using a private repository. The Waffle website isn't really usable in a way that allows you to be productive, but sighted people like it and I have another solution so win win really. This aspect is important as it allows us to surface the work that we're doing to other nearby teams. I mainly itneract with the repo using an iOS app called iOctoCat; there's the odd unlabeled button but it's actually really usable. Unfortunately if you want to access private repos and get push notifications you'll have to get the pro version for £15. For larger amounts of input - E.G. long comments I just reply to the notification emails on a computer. It's a bit too early to say how well it's working in practice, but I'm liking it so far. Hi,
We use Jira very heavily at work at the moment. My main issues are again that it is really fiddly, and in a lot of cases I can't be arsed to spend a lot of time with it. The other issue, and I don't know whether other people have this, is that I find it really difficult to visualise work that is done or when people change things. For example, I have a couple of times taken on work that I shouldn't have because it has been moved in the backlog and I haven't seen it. I know sighted people find it really good to use, and can visualise everything going on, but I can't say I feel the love for it right now.
Andrew.

Hi all,
My team are investigating tools to help plan / track / visualize the work that we do. So far the favourite seems to be Trello but whilst this is usable in the strictest of senses, it's one of those situations where it's so fiddly to use that I can't really be as productive as I'd like.
What do other people use for this sort of thing? Bonus points if it has an iOS app. The team are open to trying other solutions if they work better for me but if I can't find anything it's probably going to be Trello or Github.
Cheers, Ben.
