Hi,
One issue I have found with Powershell when doing this is it doesn't bring up the initial configuration wizards. The ADFS roles were a prime example here where I wanted to use the wizards to configure a role but they didn't come up when adding it via Powershell.

I've forwarded this onto the EDAD, perhaps someone there will have a better way to help than I do. The one thing I can suggest is to try with Narrator. I seem to remember that Narrator read the checkboxes, but I don't have a 2016 machine handy at the moment so I can't confirm that.
I've been dealing with this issue myself for years. Unfortunately the solution I've always turned to is Powershell. May I ask what about your situation won't fit into Powershell and just what you're wanting to do?

Not trying to be bad here. But I don't need me too responses. I think we all know that NVDA isn't as good as Jaws with server applications. What I really need is a way of reading these checkboxes.
Again, I'm not trying to come across as harsh. Your input is always welcome. But today, I need a solution as I'm trying to get some work done and this server role and features wizard, the most simple bit of UI possible isn't reading and therefore I'm unable to get this job done.

I've had the same thing. I find JAWS better at server tools so far than NVDA.

Yes, I can use powershell but it doesn't fit with what I'm trying to do at the moment.
