Powershell via command line is also an option for remote control of another machine.

Out of curiosity has anyone here actually set up and used RAM? We're looking at it right now where I work, for helpdesk situations, and while
product looks good we're running into quite a few issues with it,
when dealing with machines in remote offices, the connections just aren't that stable. Ryan

Hi,
Firstly, can you please make sure you post from the address you subscribe from? Currently I am approving all your posts. I did mention this to you before.
As to your question, is this in a helpdesk situation or on a personal level with just two computers? If the later, and you can get the demo version of Jaws installed, then Tandem will do what you want. If a work situation, then the best product for this currently is RAM from Serotek http://serotek.com/, but it depends on exactly what you want to do on the remote end and how often you want to do it.
Andrew.

Hi Jackie, I've been looking into powershell as screen reader RDS isn't always practical. EG. JFW with it's stability issues in a corporate network, Window Eyes requires from what I can gather that you either need to have a demo of it on every machine, or have a Citrix package built. I was therefore thinking Powershell might be the way to go. There's various examples of this all over the net, here's just one. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/magazine/2007.05.powershell.aspx Barry -----Original Message----- From: blind-sysadmins-bounces@lists.hodgsonfamily.org [mailto:blind-sysadmins-bounces@lists.hodgsonfamily.org] On Behalf Of Jackie McBride Sent: Wednesday, May 05, 2010 1:16 AM To: Blind sysadmins list Subject: Re: [Blind-sysadmins] connect remotely?
