From that point, I either run JAWS by typing the executable in the RUN
Hi Andrew, If you were to use it as a VIP though surely ATW would cover the costs? Therefore it's not your company who'd be out of pocket, or if they did have to pay anything it would be quite small and would fall into reasonable adjustments. Cheers, Barry. -----Original Message----- From: Blind-sysadmins [mailto:blind-sysadmins-bounces@lists.hodgsonfamily.org] On Behalf Of Andrew Hodgson Sent: 11 October 2012 15:30 To: steve@comproom.co.uk; Blind sysadmins list Subject: Re: [Blind-sysadmins] connect remotely Hi, Ok, being quite contravercial here, do you know of many enterprises using RIM as a solution? For us it is too expensive compared to the competition, especially given that it would only be me using the screen reader features. For the A.T vendors it is perfect, but who is it marketed for? Just an honest question. Andrew. -----Original Message----- From: Blind-sysadmins [mailto:blind-sysadmins-bounces@lists.hodgsonfamily.org] On Behalf Of Steve Nutt Sent: 11 October 2012 14:00 To: 'Blind sysadmins list' Subject: Re: [Blind-sysadmins] connect remotely Hi, Remote Incident manager is better than Tandem, since it is screen reader independent, and does allow you to copy. More expensive though, an enterprise solution. With JAWS running on your primary/local machine, type the following at the command line: MSTSC /v <computer_name> This should prompt for login credentials for the remote machine. I generally wait to hear the Windows login sound to know that I'm in the remote session. dialog, or install it, if need be. If you just need to copy files from one machine to another, Windows Explorer should work just fine for that. -----Original Message----- From: Ibraam Wahib [mailto:ibraam.wahib@gmail.com] Sent: Thursday, October 11, 2012 8:41 AM To: Blind sysadmins list Subject: [Blind-sysadmins] connect remotely dears may u able to help me n performing this task.. i need to configure computer remotely I might need to copy file from my pc to the another machine and install utilities. so, which program is useful for this task? and any tutorials for it will be thankful. note: both computers running windows os. many thanks for your support. ibraam _______________________________________________ Blind-sysadmins mailing list Blind-sysadmins@lists.hodgsonfamily.org http://lists.hodgsonfamily.org/listinfo/blind-sysadmins _______________________________________________ Blind-sysadmins mailing list Blind-sysadmins@lists.hodgsonfamily.org http://lists.hodgsonfamily.org/listinfo/blind-sysadmins _______________________________________________ Blind-sysadmins mailing list Blind-sysadmins@lists.hodgsonfamily.org http://lists.hodgsonfamily.org/listinfo/blind-sysadmins _______________________________________________ Blind-sysadmins mailing list Blind-sysadmins@lists.hodgsonfamily.org http://lists.hodgsonfamily.org/listinfo/blind-sysadmins _______________________________________________ Blind-sysadmins mailing list Blind-sysadmins@lists.hodgsonfamily.org http://lists.hodgsonfamily.org/listinfo/blind-sysadmins
