[Blind-sysadmins] xp and bluetooth

Hi, I've got a laptop with bluetooth. It's running xp. I'm trying to connect a bluetooth headset to it and the one time I got it to prompt me for a pairing password the dialog was gone in the systray before I could get to it. Has anyone got a way to get xp to get and pair to bluetooth headsets in the time needed? My one headset is made by Jabra never heard of that one, the other is a Motorola hs15. Thanks. Dave.
