Hi Lance, Let me know if you have any issues with Reflections. From memory, I think I set the cursor to block rather than blinking which is the default. I also took all the scroll bars off. Once you have one session how you like it and saved in a .r2w session file, you never have to worry about it again because you can just take that .r2w file, amend the host you are connecting to and save that as a new .r2w file. All your settings are maintained but you then have a session connecting you to a different host server. It really is the best for ssh access. If you want sftp, use win-sftp which works fine with JAWS too. Cheers, Phil. -----Original Message----- From: Blind-sysadmins [mailto:blind-sysadmins-bounces@lists.hodgsonfamily.org] On Behalf Of Bell, Lance (HSAL) Sent: 06 March 2017 05:01 To: jheim@math.wisc.edu; Blind sysadmins list Subject: Re: [Blind-sysadmins] Suggestions for other SSH Clients John, Yes for Windows 7. Thanks to all of you who responded with your SSH client preferences. I also use an old version (17) of UltraEdit whereby I can s ftp, to edit files right on the unix servers. Version 22 and 23 are not so accessible. Phil, I am starting to use reflections ssh client to and now, thanks to you I will spend some time trying to make it work for me. Linux does ssh really well in a lot of different ways. Seriously, if your job requires you to spend most of your time using ssh, you might be better off switching to linux. That's what I did. But before I switched to linux, I used openssh for Windows and a jaws script I wrote myself. On 03/01/2017 08:27 AM, Bell, Lance (HSAL) wrote:
Hi all and thanks for the thought Dave. Does anyone have any suggestions as to their most favourite SSH Client and how effective screen readers work with that software.
Best regards, Lance

Hello,
If anyone is using bitvise ssh client with a screen reader please let me know. I'd like to know which one and what you had to do to make it work?
Thanks. Dave.
