Greetings, I am going through WGU which uses Pearson for a lot of their exams. I know that the ComptTIA courses are not currently fully accessible at this time. In fact the only option I have been given as of last week is to have a person of my choosing do the reading. There is forms that have to be filled out by this person as well Guide Lines are very strict. So far, it appears that using headphones isn’t allowed. The proctor has to be able to hear everything going on in the environment. When you apply for accommodations, it can take up to 10 business days to hear back. Once they approve you for accommodations, they usually respond reasonably fast. If you haven't already, I recommend looking at their accommodations page. I'm from Poland and I have documents confirming my disability in polish so do I need to translate them and provide to Pearson to prove that I'm blind. Lastly how this proctoring works? I know that they assign someone to watch me during the exam but are they aware that I'm using accomodations like headphones and screen reader?
